Choose this if you want a guests-only rooftop pool on Passeig de Gràcia and your dates fall outside 8 January to 23 February. The terrace closes then for annual maintenance.
The pool
The Majestic's pool is on its rooftop terrace in Eixample, on Passeig de Gràcia. Hours are published as 8 AM to 12 PM daily, or 8 AM to 1 PM in August. The floor isn't published, and upper-body clothing must be worn at the pool at all times.
Our take
Almanac is the other guests-only rooftop in Eixample, and it publishes its floor (8th). The Majestic does not, but it does publish hours and a closure window, which many Barcelona hotels leave out.
The downside is the winter closure: the terrace is shut 8 Jan to 23 Feb. If you want a January swim, look elsewhere. The separate indoor spa has a 20 sqm hydromassage pool, but that is not a rooftop swim.
