Benidorm swims best from June to August, though November highs still reach 20.8°C and January averages 17.3°C. Ten hotels here have rooftop pools. None sells day passes, three are guests-only, and the other seven don't publish who can use the pool.

Our first pick is H10 Porto Poniente: a plunge pool on the 7th-floor terrace, heated, and the only pool on our list that publishes its floor. For an easier winter swim, Hotel Gold Arcos heats its infinity pool and jacuzzi, and the hotel says you can use them in winter.

Where to stay: Benidorm's rooftop pools by area

Levante Beach

Levante is the energetic side of Benidorm: tall hotels, crowded promenades and late-night bars. Barceló Benidorm Beach sits directly on its promenade.

Poniente Beach

Poniente is quieter, wider and newer than Levante, and prices run slightly higher. H10 Porto Poniente is here, about a 25-minute coastal walk from Levante.

Cheaper ways to swim in Benidorm

Non-guests have three public places to swim, because none of the hotels on our list sells day passes. Aqualandia Water Park charges 40€ per adult at the gate, and Aqua Natura Water Park lists $35. The municipal indoor pool at Palau d'Esports is open by hour-long reserved session, and its adult price isn't published.

  • Aqualandia Water Park: 40€ per adult. Water park in Benidorm. The listed adult price is 40€, with children 4-12 and seniors 65+ at 35€.
  • Aqua Natura Water Park: $35 per adult. Water park in Benidorm with multiple water slides. The listed adult admission is $35.
  • Palau d'Esports municipal indoor pool. Municipal indoor public pool in Benidorm with hour-long reserved sessions. No adult price is stated in the source.

Hotels you might expect here, and why they're not

These Benidorm hotels come up often, but we found no rooftop pool or top-floor terrace pool at any of them.

  • Hotel Magic Aqua Rock Gardens. The sources describe a water park and pools, including a swim-up bar, but never place a pool on the roof or a top-floor terrace.
  • Hotel Presidente. The hotel's outdoor pool is described as a garden and ground-floor pool terrace ("Jardín y terraza", "planta baja"), not a roof or top-floor terrace. The spa pools are indoor/spa pools, not rooftop.
  • Gran Hotel Bali. The hotel's sites describe three pools and a jacuzzi but never place them on the roof. The only rooftop feature is The Sky Bar on the 52nd floor, which is a bar without a pool. One third-party page puts the rooftop on the 2nd floor, which conflicts with the hotel's own site, so it is not used.
  • Hotel Don Pancho. The hotel's own pool page says the pool is at ground level ("a la altura del suelo") in the centre of the Chill Out terrace. No source places it on a roof or top-floor terrace.
  • MedPlaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis. The hotel's own site describes the Flamingo Oasis rooftop only as the Skyline Rooftop Bar, with no pool. The rooftop pool belongs to The Agir Springs Hotel rooftop.
  • D.Vora Sky (RH Canfali Hotel). The hotel's own site describes a fifth-floor lounge terrace with a jacuzzi and bar, but no swimming pool. Per the rules, a rooftop-style terrace without a pool is not-rooftop.
  • Terraza Lounge. The hotel's own Terraza Lounge page describes a 6th-floor terrace with sunbeds, coffee and cocktails, and sea views. No source mentions a swimming pool, so it cannot be confirmed as a rooftop pool.
  • Meliá Benidorm. The hotel's own site describes its pools as set in tropical gardens. No source places a swimming pool on the roof or a top-floor terrace.
