Cannes swims best from June to August, and by November the average high is 17.1°C, falling to 13.6°C in January. Four hotels here have a rooftop pool. One sells a day pass, one is guests only, and two don't publish who can swim.
Our first pick is Eden Hotel & Spa: non-guests pay 20€ for daily access and a sun lounger, and the 13m pool is heated to 30°C. If you're staying and want a pool outside summer, Five Seas keeps its infinity pool at 28°C all year.

Why it's here. Eden is the pick for a visitor with no room. Non-guests pay 20€ for daily access and one sun lounger, and the 13m pool is heated to 30°C. It is the only hotel on our list that sells a day pass.
The pool sits on the roof terrace at 133 Rue d'Antibes, with views over Cannes rooftops. It measures 13m x 3m, is heated to 30°C and has a hydrojet section. Its season is the catch: it opens seasonally, and the hotel gives no months.
Best forVisitors without a room who want a heated rooftop swim for 20€.

June to August is the best stretch for a rooftop swim in Cannes. Outside those months the air cools: average highs are 17.1°C in November, 14.3°C in December and 13.6°C in January, so unheated pools are a poor bet.
For winter, book a heated pool. Eden Hotel & Spa heats its pool to 30°C, and Five Seas keeps its infinity pool at 28°C year-round. JW Marriott and Best Western Plus Riviera don't publish heating, and Best Western's hours change with season and demand, so confirm before you travel.
Average daily highs: November 17°C (63°F), December 14°C (58°F), January 14°C (56°F). The warmest stretch for swimming is Jun–Aug.
Hotels you might expect here, and why they're not
These Cannes hotels come up in rooftop searches, but we found no rooftop pool at any of them.
Canopy by Hilton Cannes. Neither source mentions a swimming pool at this hotel. The only rooftop reference is a room-hire listing, so no rooftop pool is evidenced.
Hotel Belle Plage. The rooftop is an 8th-floor bar and restaurant terrace. No source says it has a pool. The only pool mentioned is a spa pool for Watsu sessions, which is not on the roof.
Hôtel Martinez - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. No source places a swimming pool on the roof. A 2018 Tripadvisor review says the pool was removed and replaced by outdoor dining. The Dayuse "rooftop" mention is not tied to a pool.
Best Western Premier Le Patio des Artistes - Cannes. None of the provided sources mention a swimming pool. Google Maps lists a hammam, sauna and spa, and the hotel's structured data has no pool or rooftop details, so no pool can be confirmed on the roof or top floor.
Okko Hotels Cannes Centre. The hotel's own site describes a rooftop terrace on the sixth floor Club, but no source mentions a swimming pool on the roof or elsewhere.
Hôtel Le Canberra. The hotel's own site describes an outdoor pool located in the landscaped garden, which is ground level. No rooftop pool is mentioned in any source.
Sun Riviera Hotel. None of the four sources mention a swimming pool. The hotel's own site describes only a breakfast/drink terrace, which does not qualify as a rooftop pool.
Mondrian Cannes. None of the four sources mention a swimming pool, rooftop or otherwise. They describe a private beach, Hyde Beach sunbeds, and a restaurant garden terrace, so no rooftop pool is confirmed.
Cannes rooftop pools: questions people ask
Which rooftop pools in Cannes let non-guests swim?
One does for certain: Eden Hotel & Spa sells daily access for 20€, with one sun lounger included. JW Marriott Cannes is guests only. Five Seas lets visitors reach its rooftop bar, but swim access for non-guests isn't published, and Best Western Plus Riviera doesn't publish it either.
Are any Cannes rooftop pools heated or open in winter?
Yes, two are heated. Eden Hotel & Spa heats its 13m pool to 30°C, and Five Seas keeps its roughly 13m infinity pool at 28°C year-round. JW Marriott and Best Western Plus Riviera don't publish heating.
How can I swim at a Cannes rooftop pool for the lowest price?
The only published price is 20€ for the Eden Hotel & Spa day pass, which includes one sun lounger. The other three hotels don't sell passes that we can price, so Eden is the cheapest route if you don't have a room.
Which Cannes hotel has the highest rooftop pool?
No hotel on our list publishes its pool floor, so we can't name the highest. JW Marriott Cannes sits at the top of a 260-room hotel on the Croisette, but its floor isn't published.
Can I swim at the JW Marriott Cannes without staying there?
No. Its rooftop pool and sundeck are restricted to hotel guests, and it is the only guests-only pool on our list.
Which months suit a Cannes rooftop pool?
June to August. In winter, average highs drop to 14.3°C in December and 13.6°C in January, so choose the heated pools at Eden Hotel & Spa or Five Seas.
