Book Ethereal White if you want the option of a private pool. Luxury and Junior Suites on the 4th floor have a plunge pool with a heated hot tub on the balcony, so you can swim in cooler months when a roof pool is less appealing. Heraklion highs fall from 20.8 in November to 15.7 in January.
The weak spot is how little the hotel says about the rooftop pool. Capsis Astoria at least sells day passes and names its floor. Here, email the hotel before you count on a roof swim. The spa's heated pool and sauna are not on the roof.
