Pick this one for height. The 76th-floor pool is the highest on our list, and a day pass sold on Tripadvisor lets non-guests in. The price isn't shown.
The pool
The pool is on the 76th floor at 1 Austin Road West, Kowloon Station. The pool area serves cocktails to order and food, and has high-speed internet. The catch is that the hotel's own page doesn't publish access rules, hours or heating.
Our take
Nothing else on our list comes close on floor number. Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui is 50 stories up and Hotel Indigo is on the 29th, but both are guests only. W is the one tall pool with a day-pass route, which makes it the better pick for a non-guest who wants height.
The downside is how little is settled. Heating isn't published, and neither is the pass price, so you can't judge the cost or the winter comfort in advance. The Langham, by contrast, lists a heated pool and a spa minimum of HK$580.
