Four Seasons Houston rooftop pool
Rooftop pool on a 30-storey tower, access rules unpublished
No. 8 of 10 on our Houston rooftop pools list, in Downtown Houston.

Stay here if you're booking a Four Seasons room anyway and want a rooftop pool included. The hotel doesn't say whether non-guests can swim and lists no day pass, so don't plan a visit around it.
The pool
The roof of the 30-storey Four Seasons at 1300 Lamar St, in Downtown Houston, holds the pool. The hotel lists poolside lounging, and a semi-private patio off the rooms overlooks the outdoor pool and deck. Floor, hours and heating aren't published.
Our take
Book Four Seasons for the room and treat the pool as an extra. The Marriott Marquis, also Downtown, sells a day pass from $20, and the Westin Memorial City sells one at $50 with a published 18th floor. Here we have neither a price nor a floor.
The catch is the gaps: no access policy, no hours, no heating information and no day pass. Call the hotel before you count on a swim, especially outside June to August.
