The pool
Flamingo Hotel Malta is on Triq Ross in San Ġiljan, and only hotel guests can use its rooftop pool. The hotel's own pages give no floor, size, hours, opening dates or heating details. That gap is the catch.
Our take
Flamingo sits at the bottom of our list because there is little to plan around. Hotel Valentina is the other guests-only pool in St Julians and publishes its 8th floor. InterContinental Malta sells day passes and gives its floor as the 19th. Flamingo gives neither.
When the pool decides your trip, ask Flamingo directly about dates and hours before booking. In the cooler months, with highs of 15.3°C in January, an unheated outdoor pool is a poor bet, and the hotel doesn't say whether this one is heated.
