The pool
The outdoor pool is on the Sky Terrace on the 9th floor of the Midtown hotel, with daybeds, private cabanas and a pool bar, Aerial Kitchen & Bar. The water is heated. The hotel does not publish pool hours.
Our take
Epicurean costs more than Omni at the Battery, whose day pass is $50, but it sits higher and says the water is heated. Omni does not publish heating. That is the trade: pay $25 more for the 9th floor and a known warm pool.
The downside is the missing schedule. The hotel gives no pool hours, so confirm them before you buy. Cabanas add cost too: they come with a bottle of Champagne and a fruit platter.
