Baltimore's rooftop swim season is short, with June to August the best three months. All three hotels we cover have a rooftop pool. Two sell day passes to non-guests, and the third doesn't publish who else can swim.
For non-guests, start with ROOST Baltimore: a $75 per adult day pass on ResortPass, with the pool open daily 10:00 am to 8:00 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor also sells passes from $75, but its pool is only 3 ft deep, so it suits lounging better than laps.

Why it's here. Pick this for a $75 day-pass pool by the Inner Harbor if you mostly want to lounge. At 3 ft deep, it won't suit laps.
Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor is at 300 Light St in Downtown West. Day passes start at $75 per adult on ResortPass. The pool is only 3 ft deep, and the hotel's own facts on floor, hours and season are thin.
Best forLounging in shallow water on a bought day pass.
Skip it ifYou want to swim laps or need published hours before you buy.
Plan a rooftop swim for June to August, the best three months in Baltimore. ROOST Baltimore publishes its season: daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The other two hotels don't publish season dates, so check before you book a day pass or a room for a shoulder-season trip.
Winter is not a rooftop swim season here. Average highs fall to 8.6°C in December and 6.2°C in January, and none of the three hotels publishes a heated pool. November averages 14.1°C, which is still cool for open-air water. If you come outside summer, treat the pool as a bonus. The Baltimore Farmers' Market runs Sundays from April 4 through December 19, 2027, if you want a morning plan before a pool afternoon.
Average daily highs: November 57°F (14°C), December 47°F (9°C), January 43°F (6°C). The warmest stretch for swimming is Jun–Aug.
Where to stay: Baltimore's rooftop pools by area
Harbor East
A visitor choosing a weekend stay said they would stay in Inner Harbor East, noting that hotels closer to Camden Yards exist elsewhere. Four Seasons Baltimore is the listed hotel here.
Inner Harbor
Described as the hub of Baltimore, a historic tourist area full of things to do. One suggested route is a 2.9-mile walk around the harbor. The Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor's pool is by the harbor.
Cheaper ways to swim in Baltimore
For the lowest price, use a public pool: Riverside Park Pool charges $1.50 per person and is open seasonally from the end of June to early September. Patterson Park Pool has a small entry fee, but the exact price isn't stated, and these are ground-level pools, not rooftop ones.
Riverside Park Pool: $1.50 per person (general pool admission; the source does not label it as adult). Open seasonally, from the end of June to early September, with Mommy & Me swim sessions for $5.00 per two-week session.
Swan Lake Swim Club. A community pool in NE Baltimore City. The source says club membership is open to the public, subject to availability, but does not give a day-admission price.
Patterson Park Pool. The source describes it as having a small entry fee, but does not state the exact adult admission price.
Hotels you might expect here, and why they're not
Several Baltimore hotels people expect to have a rooftop pool don't: some have a rooftop bar or restaurant instead, and others have an indoor or ground-floor pool.
Pendry Baltimore. The hotel's own FAQ places the pool on the 1st floor, south side, not on the roof or a top-floor terrace.
Lord Baltimore Hotel. The only rooftop source is the hotel's own LB Skybar page, which describes an open-air 19th-floor rooftop bar. No source mentions a swimming pool at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, so this is a rooftop bar without a pool.
Hotel Revival Baltimore. The hotel's sources describe a 14th-floor rooftop restaurant and bar (Topside) but never mention a swimming pool, on the roof or anywhere else. Pool fields are therefore null.
Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. Sources describe an indoor pool, and none places it on the roof or a top-floor terrace. The Instagram snippet mentions a rooftop bar, but that is not a pool.
Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. No source describes a rooftop pool. ClubZone describes an indoor pool (one third-party mention). A Tripadvisor review snippet says there is no longer a pool at this hotel. The sources conflict and no hotel-owned page was provided, so this is not confirmed as a rooftop pool.
Pier 5 Hotel Baltimore. None of the three sources mentions a swimming pool at all, so no rooftop pool can be confirmed. The Google Maps listing gives only the name and address, and the hotel's homepage and amenities page list no pool.
Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore by IHG. The hotel's own site states it does not have a pool, so there is no rooftop pool. The Google Maps listing and the structured data mention no pool.
The Ivy Hotel. None of the four sources mentions a swimming pool, rooftop or otherwise. The only terrace mention is private spa-package access, not a pool. The homepage structured data is truncated before any amenity list ends, so it can't be checked.
