The pool
The SKY 80 Pool Deck Lounge is on the 7th and 8th floors, atop the hotel in El-Montaza, Heliopolis. A long rectangular pool sits in the center of the rooftop, with sun loungers around it and city views plus the Baron Empain Palace. The SKY 80 rooftop bar is on the same two floors.
Our take
Baron is one of the few hotels on our list that publishes opening hours: daily, 8:00 am to sunset. The Kempinski and InterContinental publish none. At 8th floor, it is well below Fairmont Nile City's 25th.
Outside visitors have no published way in, since there is no stated non-guest swim policy and no day pass on sale. The spa has a plunge pool for an extra charge. Its location isn't stated, so don't assume it sits on the roof.
