Stay here for a rooftop pool with a bar beside it. Swimming is limited to in-house guests, until sunset, so the pool suits overnight visitors and no one else.
The pool
The pool is open-air on the roof, with views of the Nile and the Cairo skyline. It measures 10 m by 5 m and is 1.4 m deep. Sun loungers ring it, and the Rooftop Bar serves light meals, snacks, cocktails and wines by the water. The hotel doesn't publish the floor or opening hours.
Our take
This is the only guests-only pool on our list, which makes it the opposite of Fairmont Nile City, where a day pass gets you in. If you want the pool without a room, look there instead.
The pool is small at 10 m by 5 m, and swimming ends at sunset. No floor and no opening hours are published, so ask the hotel when the pool opens in the morning.

Getting in

The spa page lists "Day Passes & Memberships", but it doesn't say a day pass covers the pool. Under-16s are welcome at the pool only with an adult.
Tips
- Ask at booking for the pool's morning opening time, since the hotel doesn't publish hours.
- Swim before sunset, when guest access ends.
Before you go. Visitors who aren't staying should ask the hotel directly whether a spa day pass includes the rooftop pool. The hotel doesn't say.
