Choose Hotel ICON if you're staying and want a heated pool that works in winter. The rooftop pool on the 9th floor is open-air and looks over Victoria Harbour and the skyline, but there is no day pass.
The pool
The pool is open-air and heated, on Level 9 of 17 Science Museum Rd in Tsim Sha Tsui. Sun beds line the deck, and the view takes in Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline. Only guests can use it.
Our take
Hotel ICON is the other heated guests-only pool in Tsim Sha Tsui next to Kimpton, and it publishes its floor, which Kimpton doesn't. The 9th floor is the lowest on our list that states one, so you get harbour views from a modest height. The MICHELIN Guide names the pool among its 10 Essential Hotel Rooftops in the World's Top Food Cities.
Access is the catch. With no day pass, you have to book a room to swim, and the hotel doesn't publish pool hours. If you only want a day swim, The Langham is the easier way in.
