A day pass from $65 per adult on ResortPass gets non-guests into this hotel's rooftop pool in the Broadway district. The floor and heating aren't published, so the price buys loungers, umbrellas and a skyline backdrop.

The pool

Sobro's JW Marriott, at 201 8th Ave S, is a 33-story, smoke-free hotel with an urban rooftop pool. Lounge chairs and umbrellas sit around it, with the city skyline behind. Floor and heating aren't published by the hotel.

Our take

The $65 per adult pass matches the Omni's and tops Margaritaville's from $50, both also in Sobro. The Westin, in the same area, lists a pass from $30 and publishes a 27th floor. JW's case rests on the name, a summer terrace and Bourbon Steak Rooftop Bar and Views, the hotel's main rooftop experience.

The downside is value. You pay more than at the Westin and get fewer published details: no floor, no heating status, no hours. Check the pass page before you spend $65.

Tips

  • Go in June to August, the best three months to swim. November highs average 16.3°C and December 11.2°C.
  • Downtown fills for CMA Fest, June 10 to 13, 2027. Check pass dates early if you travel then.

Before you go. Confirm hours and what the $65 includes on the ResortPass page, since the hotel doesn't publish them.
