The pool
The Robey's rooftop pool is in Wicker Park at 2018 W North Ave, with a cocktail lounge on the 6th floor and downtown skyline views. The outdoor terrace is open May to September. The catch is that access rules aren't published.
Our take
The Robey is the only Wicker Park hotel on our list, and the only one here that publishes a floor for its rooftop deck. The Hoxton and DoubleTree both state their access, and the Robey doesn't, so a guest booking is the safe route in.
Between October and April the terrace is indoor only, so winter visitors lose the open-air deck. Cafe Robey serves meals and cocktails to the pool area, and tacos and cocktails come from the rooftop. Valet parking is $49 per night.
